Terms of Service
Draft for review. Not reviewed by a lawyer. The liability cap in section 10 is a proposed default (12 months of fees) — confirm it before relying on it.
These terms govern your use of GA Drawings Agent, operated by BOA Studio Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in New Zealand. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. What the service does
GA Drawings Agent is a Revit extension and hosted planning service. It reads your Revit model locally, proposes a set of general arrangement drawings, lets you review and approve that plan, and then builds the sheets and views in your model.
The extension is free to download. A paid subscription activates the hosted planning service.
2. Professional responsibility
The agent produces draft documentation. You remain responsible for it. Output must be checked by a suitably qualified person before it is issued, relied upon, used for construction, or submitted to any authority. We do not provide architectural, engineering or building-compliance advice, and the service is not a substitute for professional judgement.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password secure
- You are responsible for everything done through your account
- Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without your permission
- One account is for one person; do not share credentials
4. Licence keys
Your licence key authenticates your Revit panel. Treat it as a password.
- A key is shown in full once, when created, and cannot be retrieved afterwards
- You can generate a replacement at any time, which immediately revokes the previous one
- Do not share or publish your key. Use attributable to your key is your responsibility
5. Subscriptions, trial and payment

- New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first payment is taken automatically
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and shown excluding GST, which is added at checkout
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period
6. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel at any time from your account page
- Cancelling stops future billing. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for
- Cancel during the free trial and you are not charged at all
- Payments already made are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other law requires otherwise
- We do not refund because a subscription renewed unnoticed. The seven-day trial exists so you can evaluate the service before paying anything, and you can cancel at any time before a renewal date
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties as your own
- Share a licence key beyond the single user it was issued to
- Attempt to access another customer’s data or planning results
- Reverse engineer, probe or interfere with the service, or circumvent its limits
- Use it unlawfully, or to produce documentation you know to be false or misleading
8. Your content and ownership
You own your Revit models and everything the service produces for you — sheets, views and drawing sets. We claim no ownership of your models or your output.
You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service: to process the text-based context you send in order to generate a plan and return it to you. See our Privacy Policy for what is sent and what is not.
We own the extension, the service and everything in them. Your subscription is a right to use it, not a transfer of ownership.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. It may be unavailable for maintenance, provider outages, or events outside our control. There is no uptime guarantee or service credit scheme.
We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and stop billing.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
If you acquire the service for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, as section 43 of that Act permits.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, project delay, rework, or costs arising from errors in generated documentation
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails and is not resolved, or if your use threatens the security or stability of the service. Where practical we will warn you first.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or on this page at least 14 days before taking effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. The New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
